D-state effects in light particle induced reactions

Description

A discussion of D-state phenomena in the A=2,3 and 4 nuclei is presented. Particular attention is given to the asymptotic D/S state ration eta and to its relation with NN interation. D-state effects on the polarization observables of the (d,p), (d,t), (d/sup 3/, He) and (d,α) transfer reactions and on the /sup 1/H(d,γ)/sup 3/He and /sup 2/H(d,γ)/sup 4/He radiative capture reactions are discussed
