Quantum field theory with soliton conservation laws

Description

Field theories with soliton conservation laws are the most promising candidates for explicitly constructable models. It is exemplified in the case of the massive Thirring model how the old S matrix bootstrap idea, supplemented with a soliton factorization property, may be used as a systematic starting point for the construction of the S matrix, form factors and (hopefully) correlation functions.
