  • 1. Solar Turbines Incorporated, San Diego, CA (United States)

Description

This paper reviews small (less than 20 mw) gas turbine applications intended primarily for other wholesale electric power generation applications. Environmental permitting issues are highlighted for typical applications such as natural pipeline compression and small open-quotes self-containedclose quotes industrial cogeneration. NOx control alternatives are compared as applicable to small gas turbines. Relative cost effectiveness comparisons are reviewed. Worldwide regulations and their impact on small gas turbines are addressed. Similarities and differences of how different global air agencies deal with regulations of small gas turbines are summarized
