Magnetic resonance spectroscopy in medicine
Description
Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is an instrumental technique that uses a variety of nuclei to study different systems ranging from unknown products of chemical reactions to the metabolism of intact living tissue. This article focuses on MRS in medicine. MRS can provide biochemical and metabolic information for the normal and diseased state on a cellular level. Illustrations of the information gained are drawn from several different pathophysiological states
