Description
Tore Supra possesses a completely water cooled first wall for 30 s long pulse duration at 2300C with 25 MW of additional heating power injection. The first wall is composed of: water cooled stainless steel panels covering 65 m/sup 2/ of the external part of the inner vessel having a heat removal capacity of 12 MW, an actively cooled graphite wall of 13 m/sup 2/, located on the inner part of the chamber having a heat removal capacity of 13 MW. For independent vessel baking, a 50 KW electrical resistor system located on the inner vessel wall is foreseen
