Factors determining the health state of children in city Kamensk-Uralsky
Description
The health state of children living in the city, located at the territory contaminated by the East Urals radioactive trace (as a result of an accident at PA MAYAK) was examined. The main revealed peculiarities were as follows: high incidence at the first year of life. Some differences in health indices of children from Leninsky and Oktyabrsky settlements were noted: some differences reflected lower adaptation capabilities of children from Leninsky settlement. Multifactorial analysis of increased acute respiratory incidence in children allowed to single out the factor of radioactive exposure of child's parents
