Thermodynamic analysis of cosmological models

Description
The first order general relativistic formulation of a heat conducting viscous fluid is discussed and a formula for its temperature variation rate is derived. The results are used to examine the thermodynamic behavior of a class of viscous homogeneous and isotropic cosmologies. The method is extended to include the thermodynamics of inhomogeneous and anisotropic models as well. (author)
