Analysis of neutron data on grounds of proton data in light nuclear systems

Coulomb corrections including the internal Coulomb distortion are calculated for p-d and p-4He elastic scattering by an effective two-body method. Measured differences of the nucleon analysing powers and the differential cross sections in the charge symmetric N-d and N-4He scattering can be qualitatively explained by these Coulomb effects. The new neutron data thus do not provide evidence for the need of substantial deviation from nuclear charge symmetry. (Auth.)
