Corrosion cracking resistance of fuel cans of Zr + 1% Nb alloy under stress

Description

Effect of α → β-heat treatment rates on resistance to SCC of fuel cans of Zr + 1% Nb alloy in iodine medium is investigated according to durability (leak-tightness violation) criterion under the assigned stresses. Method for measuring the rate of SCC growth in fuel cans are described, and resulted of the respective investigations are presented

Исследовали влияние скоростей α → β-термообработки на сопротивление КРН оболочек из сплава Zr + 1% Nb в среде иода по критерию долговечности (нарушение герметичности) при заданных напряжениях. Описана методика измерения скорости подрастания КРН-трещин в оболочках и приведены результаты соответствующих исследований
