Hitherto commercially available radioimmunoassays are suitable for measurement of estriol levels in pregnant women only. A modification is presented, which enables the user to evaluate even the low estriol levels in the sera of male patients. (orig.) 891 MG

Abstract (German)

Die bisher zur Verfuegung stehenden, kommerziell erhaeltlichen Radioimmunoassays zum Nachweis von Gesamtoestriol sind geeignet zur Bestimmung des Hormonspiegels im Serum oder Plasma von Schwangeren. Es wird eine Modifizierung beschrieben, mit der es gelingt, auch sehr niedrige Gesamtoestriolspiegel im Serum maennlicher Patienten nachzuweisen. (orig.)
