Some new tetra-coordinated complexes of boron

Description
New molecular adducts of the type OGOBOR.L (where (i) G=C6H4, R=Bun, (ii) G=C6H4, C6H4CH2, R=Pri and Bun, and L=NH2C6H4COCH3(o-, m- and p-) and p-Me2NC6H4COCH3) have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements and tetracoordination environment around boron atom in these complexes has been established on the basis of spectral (UV, IR, 1H and 11BNMR) data. Orthorhombic symmetry is indicated for crystalline OC6H4OBOBun, o-NH2-C6H4COCH3. (author)
