Dosimetry of ionizing radiation by measuring thermally stimulated currents in irradiated high polymers

Thermally stimulated currents were studied in radiation-excited polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene. A measuring device is described. The results are discussed with regard to the application of this method in dosimetry. (author)

Thermisch stimulierte Ströme (TSC) wurden in den Hochpolymeren Polyäthylen und Polyärafluoräthylen (PTFE) nach Anregung mit ionisierender Strahlung unlersucht. Eine TSC-Meβapparalur wird beschrieben. Die Ergebnisse werden im Hinblick auf die Anwendung in der Dosimetrie diskutiert.Additional details
