Nodular corrosion resistant zirconium alloy
Description
An element having 4 or less atomic valency and a self-diffusion coefficient in α-Zr of less than 10,000times of a self diffusion coefficient of Zr is added to a zirconium based alloy. This can suppress nodular corrosion caused by a region where an alloy element solid solution ingredient is depleted, thereby enabling to obtain an alloy of excellent safety and reliability. (T.M.)
