Study of pairing interactions of high-temperature cuprate superconductors on model Hamiltonians

  • 1. Department of Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (India)

Description

We study a CuO2 plane of high-temperature cuprate superconductors on three-band extended Hubbard model considering dx2-y2 orbitals on copper atoms and px or py orbitals on oxygen atoms taking single-orbital per site using exact diagonalization. We compute for different parameter values, the s-wave, extended s-wave, d-wave order parameters and pairing amplitude whose functional is used for expressing the free energy in Ginzburg-Landau-like theory for superconductivity.
