Properties of CdO and PbS thin films and photocells of CdO-PbS

Description
Thin films of CdO and PbS and photocells of CdO-PbS have been obtained with the method of two separate solutions. A dependence of the transmission from the wavelength was researched for thin film of CdO. Band gap of the CdO film was estimated from the optical spectra. Nevertheless, the band gap of PbS was estimate from, the dependence of logarithm, of resistance and from reciprocity temperature. The obtained photocells of CdO-PbS are illuminated with different intensity of light and from the I- V characteristics to the photocells CdO-PbS, the diode factor was determined. Schottky barrier height of contact n+-p of photocells of CdO-PbS was determined with the volt-farad characteristic. (Original)
