Description
This 2000 issue of the activity report of the CEREM (CEA) gives a general overview of the CEREM organization, activities and human resources with some budgetary information. The main activities described concern the materials fabrication for the nuclear industry and for the medical field, the powder metallurgy, the surface treatments, the joining (by electron beam welding, laser welding, brazing), the electrochemical storage of the energy (SOFC, PEMFC, lithium batteries), the robots for nuclear, automotive and aeronautic industries, the mechanical properties and the cracks, the corrosion and physico-chemistry of fluids, the non-destructive testing and the applications and metrology of ionizing radiations.
