Analysis of AC magnetic properties in SiFe laminations under DC-biased magnetisation

Description

The magnetisation process in presence of DC-biased conditions is faced by means of a specific measuring approach. An algorithm, based on the contraction mapping theory, is adopted here for generating controlled DC-biased magnetic fluxes. The parameters that control the minor loops can be easily varied in order to reproduce a wide class of DC-biased supply conditions. Then the work is devoted to the analysis of NO SiFe laminations and the results (minor loop shape and losses) are discussed in the light of a modelling approach
