Description
In this paper the optimal states dominance in the antiproton-proton scattering at laboratory momenta from near threshold up to 3 GeV/c is investigated. Then, it was shown that the scaling property of the optimal states is evidenced in the differential cross sections with a surprising accuracy even at very low energies corresponding to pLAB=0.1 - 0.5 GeV/c beyond the resonance regions. This precocious scaling strongly suggests that the s-channel helicity conservation (SCHC) as the second distinctive characteristic of the optimal state dominance can also be a peculiar property that should be tested in antiproton-proton scattering not only at high energies but also at low energies even below pLAB=1 GeV/c.
