European DEMO design and maintenance strategy
Description
This paper outlines the DEMO design activities in Europe and some of the design options currently being considered. The key aspect considered in the design is the overall integration of the project, and a great deal of emphasis is placed on this activity. Most of the design choices are based on analysis and/or supporting R and D, but one key issue still remains to be resolved: the maintenance strategy. The paper outlines and discusses the various concepts considered to date
