Description
At a bombarding energy of 32 MeV, angular distributions have been measured for seven states populated in the reaction 27Al(6Li,α)29Si. Angular distributions and angle-integrated cross sections have been compared with results of distorted-wave Born-approximation and statistical compound-nucleus calculations, in order to assess the relative importance of direct and compound processes
