Increasing spectral sensitivity of photoelectric converters based on mono-crystalline Si

Description
Ways for improvement of the efficiency of photoelectric converter by means of applying a couple of novel approaches such as multiple exciton generation on impregnated nano-inclusions, holographic layers, as well as the innovative coatings using based on composite materials have been investigated. Some specific features of these approaches have been revealed that could help to use them in improving the spectral sensitivity of solar cells based on silicon. (authors)
