Storage of radioactive wastes in deep geological formations

The importance of geological and hydrogeological factors in a storage of radioactive wastes in deep geological formations is underlined. The utilization of oil and gas excavations with this aim is considered. The problems connected with a storage of radioactive wastes in salines are described. The possible accidents are discussed in detail. (S.B.)
