Description

Solar radiation is the major factor of heat exchange at the ground surface and i may be considered the most important of all meteorological parameters affecting human life. It is the source of power that drives atmospheric circulation. In recent years substantial have been carried out for using solar radiation for many purposes in our lives. This paper aims to build a mathematical model calculate the values of solar radiation using atmospheric parameters. Furthermore, it discusses the behavior of other meteorological parameters. The model has been developed using information collected a the Kingdom of Saudi arabia as a case study. Results obtained from the model proved to be highly correlated to observed values. 13 figs., 6 tabs
