Interphase exchange of mononuclear thiotungstate anions and their hydrolysis in nonaqueous solutions

Description
The study of the anion-exchange extraction with salts of quaternary ammonium bases of thiomolibdate and thiotungstate anions is important for solving practical tasks concerning separation of tungsten and molybdenum. The extraction of thiotungstate anions is largely influenced by the hydrolysis of tungstate thiosalts in the organic phase. As a result of the kinetic investigation of the hydrolysis of the tetrathio- and oxothiocomplexes of tungsten conditions for the anion exchange have been found and numerical values of the exchange constants for the anions have been determined
