Description

Radioactive medium system is existed widely in nuclear power plant and other nuclear facilities. It is the important barrier of nuclear safety and used to contain the radioactive medium. The leakage preventing design of radioactive medium system is one of the three elements to ensure nuclear safety. Radioactive medium system is complex and involved with pumps, valves, heat exchange and pipelines at all. Many means can be done to prevent leakage of radioactive medium and ensure nuclear safety. The radiation-resistant, anti-aging and corrosion protection sealing material and the heat preservation material with predominant performance and good chemical compatibility are selected to use; the interfaces between equipment and pipelines should be treated suitably; Dynamic seal can be transformed into static seal by using canned or magnetic force motors and corrugated tubes; Particular design with the sealing interface of equipment should be carried out.
