On studying a possibility to use optical transition radiation for proton beam diagnostics

Description
The results of the study of optical transition radiation (OTR) of 70 GeV protons are presented. A digital-TV technique was used in the measurements. Possibilities to use OTR for 600 and 1000 GeV beam diagnostics are discussed. (orig.)
