Complexes of uranium and thorium with pyrazine and pyrazine amides

Description
Reactions of uranium tetrachloride, uranyl nitrate and thorium nitrate with pyrazine (Pyz), pyrazine 2-carboxamide (Pyza) and pyrazine 2,3-dicarboxamide (Pyzda) have been carried out to study their coordination behaviour. Structural aspects of the complexes formed are discussed from the results of molar conductance and infrared spectral studies. (author)
