Structural transformations and electrical properties of glasses of Ga-Tl-Te system
Description
Structural transformations in glasses of the system Ga-Tl-Te were studied by the methods of differential thermal (DTA) and X-ray phase analyses, the temperature dependence of conductivity and thermo-e.m.f. being considered. Introduction of up to 12% thallium into melts of double system Ga-Te near eutectic composition is shown to increase their glass-formation ability. Introduction of gallium in small concentrations (up to 6 at.%) into the melts of double system Tl-Te near eutectic composition increases sharply their glass-formation ability, as well
