Objective: Introduce the actual offer and development services of the Calibration Laboratory of Measuring Instruments (LCIM) since its creation in 2007 through the accreditation process in 2013 up to today. Procedures: History and development of LCIM. Creation, implementation of the quality management system and laboratory accreditation. Current accredited services offer and not accredited, expansion of magnitudes due to CNEA's demand. Conclusions: Since LCIM creation, implementation of the quality management system and accreditation, LCIM offer increased in scope, magnitude and customers quantity, from calibrating only weighing instruments to calibrating dimensional measurement instruments and soon to calibrate pressure and temperature measuring instruments. The CNEA sectors calibration demand was accompanied by LCIM increasing growth and projecting future expansion of calibration services offered. (author)
Abstract (Spanish)
Objetivo: Presentar la oferta de servicios y el desarrollo del Laboratorio de Calibración de Instrumentos de Medición (LCIM) desde su creación en el año 2007 pasando por la acreditación en el año 2013 a la fecha. Procedimientos: Historia y desarrollo del LCIM. Creación, implementación del sistema de gestión y acreditación del laboratorio. Oferta actual acreditada y fuera de la acreditación del LCIM, ampliación de magnitudes debido a la demanda de sectores de CNEA. Conclusiones: Desde la creación del LCIM, implementación del sistema de gestión y su posterior acreditación, la oferta del LCIM fue creciendo tanto en alcance como en magnitudes, y cantidad de clientes pasando de calibrar balanzas a calibrar instrumentos dimensionales y en el corto plazo instrumentos de presión y temperatura. La demanda de calibraciones por partes de sectores de CNEA fue aumentando acompañado por el crecimiento del LCIM y proyectando a futuro seguir expandiendo la oferta de calibración y diversificando las magnitudes ofrecidas.
