Calcium hydroxovanadate synthesis

Description
The peculiarities of the Ca5(VO4)3OH synthesis on ceramic technology and with application of solutions are discussed. The synthesis of calcium hydroxovanadate on ceramic technology with using CaCO3 and NH4VO3 was established to be conducted at temperature no low than 900 Deg C. The use of Ca(NO3)2 instead of calcium carbonate is favorable to decreasing formation temperature of Ca5(VO4)3OH up to 550 Deg C. It was shown that the synthesis performing by evaporation of the solution and thermolysis of the dry residual had certain advantages, main of which were preparation of compounds with the task ratio of the components. X-ray and IR spectroscopic data for Ca5(VO4)3OH are given
Abstract (Russian)
Рассмотрены особенности синтеза Ca5(VO4)3OH по керамической технологии и с применением растворов. Установлено, что синтез гидроксованадата кальция по керамической технологии с использованием CaCO3 и NH4VO3 может быть осуществлен при температуре не ниже 900 град С. Применение Ca(NO3)2 вместо карбоната кальция способствует снижению температуры образования Ca5(VO4)3OH до 550 град С. Показано, что синтез, осуществленный посредством выпаривания раствора и термолиза сухого остатка, обладает рядом преимуществ, главным из которых является получение соединения с заданным соотношением компонентов.
