Description
It is shown that elastic and total n-bar-nucleus cross-sections have an oscillating structure in the energy range 30 MeV <or approx. Esub(n-bar) <or approx. 300 MeV. The oscillation amplitude is determined by the imaginary part of the n-bar-nuceus potential, U = V +iW. The structure is most evident for intermediate nuclei. In the case of n-bar-40Ca, assuming U =(300 + i50) MeV, a 5% (10%) oscillation amplitude in the total (elastic) cross-section is found
