Opinion forming with regards nuclear energy

The point of view of the Dutch public regarding nuclear energy appears to become more defined as times goes on. The percentage of people who now have no definite opinion concerning nuclear energy, as testified by energy investigations, is many times less than a number of years ago. The authors consider the following points: the factors which determine whether somebody is for or against nuclear energy; the way in which supporters and opponents weigh up the possible positive and negative consequences of nuclear energy; which values form the foundations of opinions about nuclear energy; and how supporters and opponents view one another.
