BWR intergranular stress corrosion cracking research program overview
Description
Intergranular stress corrosion cracking has had a significant economic impact on utilities and is the reason that a major research effort has been underway to understand the phenomenological aspects of the problem. These results helped identify remedial measures and a firm basis for their application to power plants. 10 refs
