Evolution of electronic properties in the Ti50Ni50-xMex (Me = Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, and Mn) shape memory alloys

Description
Within a temperature range of 2-400 K in alloys Ti50Ni50-xMex (Me = Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn) magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistance and thermo-emf are investigated. A consideration is given to the variation of electronic band structure near Fermi level on martensitic transformations of the following types: B2 ↔ B19', B2 ↔ (R or B19) ↔ B19' and B2 ↔ (R or B19), as well as on transition from shape memory alloys to the alloys lacking a shape memory effect due to TiNi intermetallic compound alloying with 3d-metals

В интервале температур 2-400 К проведены исследования магнитной восприимчивости, электросопротивления и термоэдс сплавов Ti50Ni50-xMex (Me = Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn). Рассматривается изменение электронной зонной структуры вблизи уровня Ферми при мартенситных превращениях типа: B2 ↔ B19', B2 ↔ (R или В19) ↔ B19' и B2 ↔ (R или В19), а также при переходе от сплавов с эффектом памяти формы к сплавам без него в результате легирования интерметаллида TiNi 3d-металламиAdditional details
