Synthesis and some properties of trifluorophosphine compounds of thorium

Description
The unknown thorium compound with PF3 complying with the formula of ThP3F7 is synthesized under cryogenic conditions with the use of the effect of cathode sputtering. The substance was studied for its solubility in the series of organic and inorganic solvents. Substance thermal decomposition is studied. The IR spectrum is taken along with the X-ray electron spectrum. Mechanism of atomic Th interaction with PF3 matrix is considered
