Multiplicity dependence of two-pion correlations for Si+X collisons at 14.6A·GeV/c
Creators
Description
Two pion correlation measurements have been made by experiment E859/E802 for 14.6A·GeV/c Si beams at the Brookhaven National Laboratory AGS. The authors have extracted source radii as a function of multiplicity for Si+Au and Si+Al systems, in order to study how the correlation source size varies as a function of collision geometry. Results for three different multiplicity ranges will be presented and compared to model predictions from the ARC cascade code
