Inelastic neutron scattering study of the phonon frequency distribution in Sr Cl2

Description
In this paper the results of the slow inelastic neutron scattering measurements in Sr Cl2 are presented. The phonon frequency distribution g(ℎω) has been measured using the beryllium filter time-of-flight method. The latter one is obtained by a method proposed by Oskotskij for coherent scattering samples. The specific heat and Debye temperature are calculated by means of g(ℎω). (authors)
