Variation of coincidence summing correction coefficient with thickness of sample source
Description
The coincidence summing correction coefficient for the γ ray of several energies of 152Eu water source is calculated theoretically at different thicknesses of the body source using the Monte-Carlo method. They are measured experimentally too. The results indicate that the coincidence summing correction coefficient reduces gradually with the increase of the sample thickness. The theoretical calculation results are almost identical to the experimental results within the error range
