Charge potential of the 125Te daughter nuclide from 125I decay; and reply

Description
The inclusion of a value of 21 for the residual positive charge of tellurium 125 in a paper by Iliakis et al (Int. J. Radiation Biology, v.52, pp 705-722, 1988) is questioned as being only remotely possible. Iliakis considers that the comment is not relevant to the paper since the authors did not aim to discuss the physical aspects of iodine 125 decay in detail. (U.K.)
