Clinical significance of measurement the changes of serum E2, FSH, CT and PTH-SP levels in patients with old female osteoporosis

Description

Objective: To explore the clinical significance of changes serum, E2, FSH, CT and PFH-SP levels in patients with old female osteoporosis. Methods: Serum E2, FSH(with CLIA) serum CT, PTH-SP(with RIA) levels were determined in 34 patients with old female osteoporosis and compared with 35 normal controls. Results: Serum E2, CT levels were significantly lower than the controls(P < 0.01), but serum FSH, PTH-SP levels showed remarkably higher(P < 0.01). Conclusion: Detection of serum E2, FSH, CT and PH-SP levels might be of realize the pathosis and prevention of osteoporosis provides definite clinical value and warning sign for development of osteoporosis.
