Nuclear stopping in heavy-ion collisions at 100 MeV/nucleon from neutral pion measurements

Description
Inclusive and exclusive data on π0, extracted from an experiment with 36Ar beam performed at GANIL, are discussed in terms of stopping and reabsorption. The distribution of charged baryons associated with pion emission is also investigated. (K.A.)
