Description

Iminodiacetic Acid (IDA) derivatives labelled with Tc-99m have been used successfully for hepatobiliary imaging, since 1975. A new generation of IDA derivatives have been investigated in the past few years in order to replace advantageously the former ones. The production of a Kit of 3-Bromo-2,4,6-Trimethyl-phentylcarbamoyl-methylimino-diacetic Acid labelled with Tc-99m is described, as well as its quality control and the studies performed in twenty-seven patients. The product displayed optimal performance and suitable for use in clinical evaluation of hepatobiliary disease in humans
