Investigation of the 4He(e,e') reaction cross section in the vicinity of the quasi-free peak, the dip, and the Δ(1232) resonance

Description
Experimental data on inclusive scattering of electrons on 4He nuclei in the vicinity of the quasi-free peak and the Δ resonance are presented. The energy spectra are measured within the momentum transfer range 1 < q < 3 fm-1 and energy transfers up to 0.72 GeV. The data obtained are analyzed in the approach that takes into account the covariance and electromagnetic hadron current conservation and within the framework of the single-particle shell model with the harmonic oscillator potential. 20 refs., 3 figs
