1-Adamantyl- and phenyldiiodo-phosphines in reaction with 1-hydroxyadamantane

Reactions of 1-hydroxyadamantane with 1-adamantyl and phenyldiiodophosphines have been studied by the methods of chemical analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy. It is ascertained that the reactions mentioned proceed in a way similar to reactions with chlorine-containing analogs and result in formation of a new bond phosphorus-carbon and iodoanhydrides of diorganylphosphinic acids.
