Reactions of free radicals with organic cations

Kinetics and mechanism of reactions of organic cations of different nature with neutral radicals, anion- and cation-radicals, resulting due to the effect of γ-radiation, electron beam pulsed radiation, photolysis etc, are considered. Dependences of these reactions rate on substituent nature in reagents, radical charge, solvent and counterion nature, presence of crown-ethers are analyzed. Synopsis of application of cation reactions with radicals for organic compounds alkylation and arylation, in diazotypy, cation and radical polymerization is given
