Interpretation of multidetector technique readings for dose equivalent determination

Description
A general approach in interpreting the multidetector technique readings for dose equivalent determination behind a high energy particle accelerator shielding has been formulated. The interpretation of readings is performed using the response matrix that allows to take into account the detection of each type of radiation. The depth factors of dose equivalent and the differences in spectra of the calibration source and radiation field are taken into account. The response matrix for the IHEP multidetector technique has been obtained and the examples of treatment of the measurement results behind the IHEP accelerator shielding with the help of this matrix are given.
