Ionic and electronic conductivities of a pure oxide (MOy) with Schoettky disorder
Description
Appropriate defect reactions are formulated and equilibrium defect concentrations for a pure metal oxide MOy with Schottky disorder in equilibrium with a surrounding oxygen gas phase are calculated using the Brouwer's method of approximation. Mathematical expressions for the conductivities and transport numbers of the predominating ionic and electronic charge carriers are also deduced. (C.L.B.)

Reacoes de defeitos sao formuladas e sao calculadas as concentracoes de defeitos para um oxido metalico puro MOy com desordem de Schoettky, em equilibrio com uma fase gasosa adjacente (contendo oxigenio), utilizando-se o metodo de aproximacao de Brouwer.
