On accuracy of neutron beam polarization measurement by the shim method

Description

Neutron beam transmission through a ferromagnetic shim is considered. Use of the relation accounting for non-ideal character of the shim permits to increase accuracy of determination of the degree of neutron polarization up to 1-2%
