Proceedings of 22. Zakopane school on physics, Zakopane, Poland, 1-15 May 1987. Part 1

Description

The most important subject of the lectures is high-spin physics which progress is due to heavy-ion beams and development of multi-detector measurement technics. Super deformed phenomena in nuclei are discussed in detail. The heavy ion reaction mechanism data are obtained mostly by means of gamma spectroscopic techniques. (M.F.W.)
