Organzing and realization of scientific researches in NPP safety

Description

Results of some investigations in the NPP safety problems performed within the framework of NRC program are generalized. Such problems related to NPP safety as hypothetical accidents (including determination of event chain leading to accidents at NPPs); embrittlement of reactor materials; analysis of risk; human factor; equipment aging are considered. During number of investigations experts drew the conclusion of overstated evaluations of possible radiation sequences of hypothetical accidents at NPP
